Although we are a small shop in area, we are proud of the quality and the variety and uniqueness of the crafts which we carry. Our crafters take pride in producing the very finest items possible. Many of our crafts are created from recycled items such as used greeting cards, men's ties, scraps of yarn, ribbon, and lace, and throw-aaway CDs.
Come back often to browse through our site. We will be adding more items when they are completed or as we include new artists from the area.
DOROTHY DALE---Owner-Operator
Dorothy and her husband, Willard, physically built the craft shop in their back yard (before the house was even there). She does many different kinds of crafts--many of them from recycled items. She creates angels, handbags, and pillows from old ties; as well as boxes, bowls, baskets, puzzles, placemats, and ornaments from used greeting cards. She also knits, crochets, does hand embroidery, and quilts.
Many items are one-of-a-kind, but she does accept special orders under some circumstances. In her "spare time" she enjoys writing poetry, doing carpentry work, and flower gardening.

SCOTT EATHERLY--Hand Woven Baskets
Scott lives at Lake Tansi, just outside of Crossville. Until 2000, when he had a massive brain aneurysm, he worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He learned basket weaving during his recovery period. Still unable to return to full-time employment, he devotes his efforts to his new occupation--making wonderful baskets. His skill and care are shown in the time he takes to weave covering on the handles of the baskets. The shape of the popular "Onion Basket" is his own creation.
JACK & KATHY MULLARKEY
The Mullarkeys live in the tiny town of Quebeck, TN, where they pursue the wonderful art of "Intarsia", a craft dating back the 15th century Italy. They have studied under the renowned artist, Judy Gale Roberts, and have learned well. Jack, a retired marine, cuts the intricate wood pieces, and Kathy, a retired teacher, does the sanding and finish work. Their beautifully detailed pictures are colored only by the natural woods which they use.
